Microsoft Launches New Office Update with New Features For Android

Microsoft Office productivity suite is extremely trendy on Android, and the company will also shove out some monthly updates with the improved and new features for the MS. Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Recently, Microsoft released the July 2018 Office update for Android which will bring the application to build 16.0.10325.20043. However, it will also come with some improvements for the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, according to the Microsoft in a support document which is only available for the Office 365 subscribers who are the part of Office Insider program.

Microsoft Words:

The significant update in Microsoft word is that the word count of the document is displayed at the bottom of your screen when the user scrolls through a document.

Microsoft PowerPoint:

In the updated feature of PowerPoint, now you can easily edit slides when your device is turned sideways. The latest feature would be very useful on devices with some superior screens believing the new dual-pane interface of the application.

Microsoft Outlook:

In this latest updated feature of Outlook now you can easily delete the contacts and also turn off the email notifications when anyone is attending an important meeting or any family function. Microsoft explains that it will Limit the distractions and also focus on what matters. For example, just turn off your email notifications when you are attending any meeting or any function so that you can give your full attention to the information which is being shared and to the discussion.

As we already mentioned above that the latest updates are currently available only for the Insiders, but once it is completely tested enough then it will be released or available to the general public. Microsoft also said that anyone could easily sign up for the Microsoft’s Office Insider Program and also try out some latest and new features before making it a public release.
